Hires Root Beer “Ugly Kid” Tin Sign

Rare advertising item for Hires depicts their trademark “Ugly Kid” holding a ceramic mug of root beer bearing his likeness. Lithographed by the Chas. Shonk Co., Chicago, circa 1905-1910.
SIZE: 19-1/2″ x 27-1/2″.
PROVENANCE: Phillip H. Morse, a vice chairman and co-owner of the Boston Red Sox.
