Finding Vintage Signs - Part II
One way to find vintage signs that is often overlooked is at yard sales and garage sales. During the summer months, get up early on Saturday morning and check out the garage sales in your area. You might be surprised what people have sitting in their basement, or garage that they just want to get rid of. In smaller communities, during the summer months they may have a town-wide garage sale day. This is usually a very popular event so you will need to get up extra early to check out the good deals.
Typically, vintage signs that are for sale at garage sales go for very little money.
